Applicability

Strengths: The survey includes employed elderly persons in the sample who are above the official retirement age and is stratified by age. It also collects information on health staus and occupational health as part of overall satisfaction with working conditions. The linkage with the Gesundheitsmonitor allows for analysis of overall health conditions of sampled employees, not just occupational health, and the data is collected regularly and with relative frequency (4x per year). Weaknesses: The survey does not follow the sample over time and linkage with other datasets (other than the Gesundheitsmonitor) is not possible.
