Data was collected between 1985 and 2003. The sample varied around 100,000 people.

Two step sampling: 1) sampling of municipalities 2) sampling of addresses.
Municipal Person Registration + Address Registration (GBR) KPN.
Entire Dutch population (until 1994 only individuals older than 12)
No age restrictions (until 1994, respondents were aged 13 and over)
Population representative (at least from 1999 onwards).
Detailed study of:
Mobility in the Netherlands: (1) origin / destination (2) travel times (3) travel distances (4) mode of transport (4) motivation of mobility (5) ownership of vehicles.
